The Arizona Desert Ghost Hunters, featured on the recently aired Discovery Channel Program, A Haunting, "Casa De Los Muertos" wish to comment on the investigation depicted on the program. It is important to know that the story is embellished with fictional events. The information supplied to the show producers from our investigation was not used on the program. Debbie did several readings with the family prior to the investigation and told the Benitez family that there was a man who committed suicide in the home and his first name started with an "R." Arizona Desert Ghost Hunters investigated the Benitez residence on 3 separate occasions to take photos, EVPs, answer questions, and interview Mr. and Mrs. Benitez and their son, Eddie, Jr. We performed a smudging to rid the house of the ghost (Rick). After the smudging, Mr. Benitez informed us that all spirit activity had ceased. Subsequently, the Benitez family relocated to another home.
